London Roller Derby

Hurrah! Finally a proper post! This weekend I experience my first Roller Derby event at London's Earl's Court. Good idea to bring my sketchbook along. Those gals move so fast I barely got a few squiggles down on the page but luckily it was enough to bring home and make characters out of. Hopefully Ill find time to take these into PS at some point and add a splash of colour. Ill also try to post the original sketches with that.

  1. Do you mind if I use the first one as a color test for myself? I'll send you what I come up with if you want!

Didn't want to steal your artwork without permission! :)

@laurent its an all woman sport where chicks skate round in a circle trying to knock the shit outta eachother! It's great! Check it out on YouTube or watch the film with Ellen Page called Whip It.
