Jazz Guy

When sitting in the regular Starbucks with a lack of people to draw, the BF told me to draw the guy playing the piano on the jazz track the coffee shop was playing. This is what crawled out of my mind!

Snow jumble

This weeks AIB Jumble lead me to draw some characters dancing about in the snow. I wanted to capture the pure fun it is when playing in the white stuff (snow...not blow). I got the rough poses I wanted on paper and I wanted to draw them all up clean by hand but I only managed to get one good copy, so I moved into PS and drew the poses with a different character.

First Commissions

Cinderella!

As at every primary school, this year the local school is putting on a Christmas show for parents and friends and Owen's mum Mrs, P asked him to do a backdrop for their version of Cinderella and O-bag asked me to help him.

Our canvas was a simple blue bed sheet and our tactics were to keep it as simple as possible. So we took Owen's idea of a silhouetted landscape including the fundamental images and morphed it into some a little more exciting for the eye.  And finally we threw glitter all over it! Voila! Merry Christmas!

Baking with Matt

So most people who know me, know that I'm rather partial to a bit of sugar now and then and even in spite of my zero skills in baking, I love to do it as often as I can. Making crap outta other crap is fun. Especially when you can eat the result.

Last weekend was Matt's work's Christmas 'Bazaar' and he was asked to contribute something for the day. And this is what we did, like the old married couple we are.

Christmas Cookies!

Mittens was no help at all...
